WOOD DALE POLICE DEPARTMENT - MISSION STATEMENT

• We, the Wood Dale Police Department, exist to promote safety and a feeling of security in the community by providing service in a fair, honest, prompt, cooperative, helpful, sensitive, and courteous manner to the satisfaction of our citizens.
  
• With community policing and community service as our foundation, we are striving to enhance and improve the quality of life in Wood Dale by identifying problems, seeking solutions, and working with all segments of the community to solve difficulties, and to improve our services.
  
• We are committed to traffic enforcement.  Crime prevention, protection and preservation of peace, order and highway safety and the enforcement of law and ordinances while protecting the constitutional rights of all.
  
• We are guided by the principal of justice in addressing our social responsibilities and we are accountable for all that we are, have, and do directly to the people we serve.
  
• We uphold the law equally regardless of color, race, religion or economic status.
  
• We demand excellence in ourselves and strive to provide the best possible service to others.
