MESSAGE FROM THE CHIEF OF POLICE
Welcome to our website! As Chief of Police, I would like to thank you for showing an additional interest in learning more about the Wood Dale Police Department. The Police Department is working to make the City of Wood Dale a safe place to live and work by forming partnerships with its residents and businesses. The department is comprised of 33 sworn police officers and 27 civilian personnel. Our staff is highly trained and dedicated to the mission and safety of our community. Our police agency is certified by the Commission of Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies since 2000. We also have the additional honor of holding accreditation certification not only in police operations, but also a separate acknowledgment for our Communications Division.
