How Do
I Schedule a Ride?
Call
Dial-a-Ride Direct at (630) 787-3715 at least one day in advance of the
day you want to travel. We will try to accommodate all scheduling
requests.
The van can only
travel within a certain area. Please refer to the map below for
destination limitations. The service area is outlined in a thick
black line.
- Special trips to
Elmhurst Hospital by request only.
Fares
Seniors and Handicapped can purchase a punch pass of 10 rides for $12.00 or pay a flat rate of $2.00 each way.
All other riders can purchase a punch pass of 10 rides for $25.00 or pay a flat rate of $3.00 each way. (The pass – can be purchased from the driver)

Rules
For the safety and
comfort of passengers and the driver, please adhere to the following
rules:
- Curb to curb
service only. The van driver cannot pull into driveways
- 2 destination
limit only per trip
- Senior citizens
are required to have cane or walker if they are unstable.
- 4 bag limit for
shoppers
- No bags or
personal items are allowed to be left in the van.
- The City of Wood
Dale and the driver take no responsibility for lost or stolen
merchandise.
- Please allow the
driver 10 minutes past scheduled time to arrive at your location. This will allow for traffic, trains and other unforeseen
circumstances.
